Our Userpoint Rewards Program awards points to JewelryLessons.com registered members for contributions such as posting tutorials, articles, answers, inviting a friend and tips. The more contributions a member makes, the more points they get. Points can be redeemed towards certain privileges, such as buying paid tutorials, purchasing ad space, being featured as artist of the month, etc. Points can only be viewed on members’ profile. The hierarchy of points is answers, tips, articles, tutorials, being tutorials the most awarding contribution.

Tutorial = 50 points
Article = 20 points
Tip = 5 points
Invite a friend = 2 points
Invite a friend who registers = 4
Single purchases above $20 = 3 points per dollar
NEW! Tutorial Review = 10 points


Benefits and rewards

The following benefits and rewards can be redeemed through points accumulated:
1) Purchasing tutorials
2) Featured member
3) Featured tutorial
4) Artist of the month

NOTE: Until May 21, 2009, only contributions which essentially HELP OTHERS earned points. On that date, a new TRIAL program which rewards Buyers with purchases above $20 was installed (this feature is not retroactive and does not apply to purchases before the plan was in place).
Other contributions such as posting at the gallery, and general questions and answers which benefit primarily the poster, so do not earn userpoints.
