Description:
I was searching for a computer back up for some charts for an old client from years back. Apparently they need my help again. So instead of spending hours making the charts to correct their financial difficulties, I hunted through my old computer back ups and look what I found! All my trees! This is only a few of them. Most of the ones I had pix of had been sold. One was one I kept but the hurricane blew it away along with my house. Pffft! That is what I get trying to please someone that could not be pleased. Learned my lesson. But here they are. Since I have learned how to adjust the pix a wee bit, I fixed their color as much as I could. I love my trees! (This is where I got my nickname from.) |

Utterly gorgeous!! You have certainly earned your name! LOL
They are just so heart-wrenchingly beautiful. So fragile looking, and yet resilient and sturdy, much like real trees growing in almost-impossible places.
You truly have a magic touch, when it comes to making a bunch of wires and gems come alive! So admirable!!
Sorry about the loss of tree and house. Ouch!!
Thank you, SilverLox! Ouch is right. I actually think the tree I kept was not pictured. I think when I made it I said... MINE! Then never took a pic because I was so not going to sell it.
I spent all winter one year taking pix of trees without their leaves. I decided I was going to make a gem tree like none of the ones I saw on the internet. I didn't want to be accused of stealing their ideas. LOL! Now, to go apply for a teacher permit.
Oh my GOODNESS!! I love, love, love your trees!
They are hauntingly beautiful. More, more, you must make more! I hope you are motivated to make more in the future. They are just gorgeous!
Thank you for sharing your found pics!
LOL! Oh, my! Ok, Taimeup! (I love your nic, by the way) Um, I am a real far out there woowoo type person. I consider that people often deliver us messages we need to hear. So far, I keep hearing, make more trees.
Ok! I get the message! Did you see the trees recently posted Here? Wow! I love those. I wanted to make some but could not at that time afford the tutorial. I have an issue with 'stealing'. I didn't want to steal some one else's idea and sell it so I worked at making one of my own and researched diligently to see if I could see anything like what I started making. So far, I have not seen any like them but they are not as sturdy as the other trees they have out there for sale and as a tutorial.
These are not made for places that have kids handling them nor cats playing with them.
The trees will go back on my list of things to make to sell and maybe as a tutorial.
