Rose of Sharon - Tutorial is in the building...

Description:

I'm finally answering all the requests for this lovely little pendant! The tutorial is waiting in the wings!

Sweet little 8mm CZs set with sterling wire and coils, a`la Sweet Amethyst, Small Fireworks, and Dahlia Volcano. One LOS, one not....I can't decide which way I like best.....But maybe it doesn't matter!

Very pretty!

Beautiful, as always. Re LOS: I understand why you can't decide. But... oxidation really makes the piece pop!

New Byzantium Designs.

This is so lovely and classic. I like both LOS and w/o, but would personally choose the LOS because it brings out the "rose" detail, and makes the color of the stone just pop. Another gorgeous piece.

Tara

Ooooh, this is so sweet! I like them both! Glad I don't have to choose... lol
Arya

It's a gorgeous piece. My personal preference for this would be with the LOS, but it's lovely all shiny too. :)

hmm...6 comments, 6 tutorial requests... a coincidence? I think not!

It's very sweet, good work!

I really like shiny things, but the LOS version looks wonderful. I'm going to add my request for the tutorial.

Paige and I both vote LOS. But both are beautiful Perri!
Dana

Ya know, this would make a good class. Maybe in Cleveland? in October? LOL
Sherry

Beautifully simple! I like how the LOS makes it look dressed and ready to go on stage.
Barbur

Wonderful design Miss Perri, I like both, but more LOS, excellent and pretty as a Rose!!!! I love it!!
Rita

Thanks Miss Donna! I think I'll make this one in different colors!

Perri

Becky, Tara, Arya, Dryad - Thanks for liking the LOS version - I have to agree, the LOS really showcases the details in the piece. There was just something about the shiny stuff, too! LOL

Shar and Sandy, I'll definitely put this one in line for a tutorial!

Perri

Dana, Barbur, and Rita,

Thanks so much - I guess it is official - LOS seems to be the way to go - and I think Barbur might have hit the nail on the head - it looks more finished!
Perri

Thank you so much, Miss Sherry! I think you might be right about this making a good class! Imagine it in garnet, olive, sapphire, citrine, emerald, or alexandrite! I wonder if Cleveland would be a place to teach this?.....LOL

The LOS is my favorite :)

~~Connie

Isn't it wonderful that you made two? Now you can just choose depending on what you're wearing and your earrings. It looks like they would make adorable earrings!

They are both beautiful, Perri! Very delicate design, I love it. However, my heart belongs to LOS one:)))
Taniri

Really nice!!! I like oxidized more:-)

This is gorgeous and for the first time ever -- I like it better with the LOS!

Dawn

I love it!! I have a 8mm Sapphire that is screaming to be set in that. I voted for a tutorial, please.
Tammy

I like this Perri. I've been watching avidly and waiting for something a bit smaller in this design of wiring. Will you write a tute? I think I could squeeze this one into my awful schedule a few times.
Cas xxx

Wow, this is really beautiful! I'm joining the LOS group, it really makes that bold pink look amazing.
-Vera

Thanks, Taniri and Connie! Two more votes for LOS!!!
