Description:
These are just some of the chainmaille projects I have done, there are sooo many more lying around. and after being given some good advice i have listed the pic descriptions 1 by 1 for you. but please do correct me if im wrong:
Pic 1 - Byzantine weave, with little byzantine triangles and snowflake cubes necklace
Pic 2 - More byzantine links half wrapped around glass pearls and when joined with the clasp the whole bracelet looks like a flower
Pic 3 - is called turkish maille (AKA 3D byzantine) with a gorgeous swirly lampwork bead in the middle to set it of
Pic 4 - is a box weave bracelet just left blank at the moment
Pic 5 - is another turkish maille bracelet this time made with dark brown and deep red aluminium rings, worked out really well :0)
Pic 6 & 7 - A celtic chain maille bracelet made with 2 sized rings and had a row of kiwi stones down the middle with a slide clasp
Pic 8 - The full persian weave filled with blue firepolish crystals
Pic 9 & 10 - A rondo maille bracelet I turned into a watch recycling an old unused watch face
Pic 11 - Rhinos snorting drano bracelet made with red and gold aluminium rings
Pic 12 - This one is called camelot, I have used black and light green rings for this and it has turned out really well
Pic 13 - Shaggy loops necklace and bracelet set with large aqua beads and crystals this one has be made with single links but the charm bracelet coming next has been made with double links the effects are great either way
Pic 14 - Shaggy loops charm bracelet made with double rings instead of one, this one has a variety of charms, lampwork beads and other beads
Pic 15 - Tryzantine necklace with purple lampwork beads
Pic 16 - The name has completley gone out of my head but they are also known as little flowers I have added then to a necklace and put little swarovski crystals in the middle
Pic 17 - Butterfly weave with the extra link added in to take the turquoise beads
Pic 18 - Roundmaille filled with blue firepolish crystals
Pic 19 - save thye best til last lol, This was the hardest chain maille ive ever done in fact 12 attempts until I got it right. This is a japanese 4-4 cube in black and turquoise rings.
Pic 20 - ive added another of my favourite techniques, a bracelet and necklace set in the european 4-1 made into little triangles, I have aqua swarovski crystals and firepolish crystals hanging from this one
Thats the lot for now I hope you enjoy them Tracey :0) xx

Wow! You have fantastic ideas :) Your chainmailles are beautiful :)
Monika
Thankyou Monika, I love trying new ideas with chainmaille to see what can be achieved. Tracey :0) xx
Great work!
May I suggest :) that you edit your description to identify the weave in each pic. That will save a lot of back and forth as folks ask you to identify each weave. (e.g. Is that the Helm or Paralell weave in the charm bracelet pic?)
Becky
Thankyou Becky, that is good advice I will do that now. The charm bracelet one ive always known as shaggy maille, but I have made this one with double links instead of single.
Tracey :0) xx
These are GREAT!!! I LOVE the idea of filling the full persian... I never thought of that! You should show your maille work more often!!
Thankyou for your lovely comments hun, I will try n get some more pics on, I got my first party this weekend so trying to sort that at the moment, Im sooo nervous lol. Thankyou again Tracey :0) x
Thanks for the explation, Tracey. As the bracelet is laid out in the pic, a couple of sections showing the doubles seemed reminicent of Helm. Even though I was wrong, it got me thinking that Helm might make a good base for a charm bracelet.
Becky
Your welcome Becky, I have made a charm bracelet from Helm weave putting the charms on the middle links to make a perfect space between them. It does look effective and I will look forward to seeing some of your ideas too :0) Tracey x
