I guess my passion for jewelry began as a kid. It all started with some rope and beads; the result being pieces made using macrame techniques. Then, of course, that progressed to making hanging baskets. I imagine a lot of people of my generation dabbled with macrame. So I would play with the beads, not always having the resources to create. At some point, a glass jar of beads would be tucked away, long forgotten about until my early 20s. What a surprise to find them, as this sparked what would become an obsession for me. An obsession for things colorful, sparkling and unique. Though I still purchase jewelry - because I'm a great admirer of other artists - there's nothing like creating your own pieces. And now, thanks to Eni, who has been a huge inspiration, we have a great forum that we can use to learn and share.
