This show-stopper cuff can also be called a “zipper cuff” because of the way it is constructed: it is woven in two separate parts which are then united at the end, very much like a zipper which is being is closed. The amount of decorative elements added is totally up to you – make it as ornate as you like!

Post a Tip about this Tutorial

can you use something else instead of stainless steel memory wire?

How wide is this bracelet? I've seen the "Gemmy Bracelet" and saw it was about 1" wide, but am curious as to the width of this one.

Thanks,

Beth

I really think this might be my favorite tutorial. I've made about five of these cuff bracelets trying different themes each time. I made one completely of wooden beads and copper wire, another solely of swarovski crystals, another in onyx and swarovski and more. I find the weaving of the beads to be tranquilizing and even though I've planned each bracelet carefully, still I am always pleasantly surprised by the final magical product. And every time I wear these bracelets, I am stopped and asked about them. Once, a bead shop owner recognized that it was "Eni Oken's Cuff Bracelet" design that I was wearing. Thank you, Eni.
