This project requires four 1/2" soldered closed jumprings or smaller, but when I tried to purchase them, they are listed by gauge and mm. What IS the gauge and mm of the jumprings needed? (It seems that jumprings are listed by the OUTSIDE mm.) Thanks!
You can use any large soldered closed type of jumpring, measuring 10 to 15mm. However, the thicker ones look nicer, so look for those between 20 to 18ga thickness.
