Advanced but fun to make

I loved this ring design so much that I was determined to make it even though I was a beginner at weaving. The instructions are so clear you can't blow it in my opinion. Unfortunately I used a white beach stone since I was at the beac so it became top heavy ha ha! I think it took me all day to make and came out great except a word of caution: make sure your stone is flat enough to stay seated AND if you use a larger stone than in the tut, the coils around it should be larger in order to hold it in place. I used different sized silver balls also. Since then I've made a second ring using a lapis coin bead and it came out well, although the profile is a bit tall for me personally. In making the 2 previous rings I used fine silver plated wire. My next one will be all sterling including those very kewl beads that were used in the tut that I finally found after some searching (not sure if I can mention who makes them here). Thx for making a complicated ring easy to make!
