TIP!

When I first started with Eni's tutorials, I had trouble coiling. I kept coiling over previous coils , making a bumpy look.
I found that, if I kept my thumbnail on the previous coil, the next one would not go over it. As I coil, I make three or four coil wraps, then push them back to the previous tight ones.
This also works with weaving. If both wires are free, i.e., one of them is not bound to something else, I hold them between my thumb and forefinger. At first, weave close, to create a stronger weave to work with, and, then, as I progress, I keep my thumbnail on the previous wrap as I bring the new one onto the wire. I move back and forth between the wires with my thumbnail. I find it is better not to be in a hurry, so this movement does not impede my progress much, and it does give me a more uniform weave.
