TIP!

If you'll take the time to do some surfing, there's a lot of fractal artists who post their creativity all the time. What's wonderful in addition to their overall designs is the various color combinations they employ to support their designs. I've lost count of how many times I've looked at one and thought, "I never would have put those colors together, much less ALL those colors!" but they do and make them look beautiful. It's the balance between what colors star and what colors support that makes them all work fantastically. So, for me, I plan to refer to some of those designs from time to time, not to use copywrited creations at all, but to use the uncopywritable (???) color combinations. After all, we do that already with all sorts of other media like Christmas cards, magazine covers, places in nature, someone's eyes, formal artwork, etc. If you'd like to check it out, just Google fractal art and there's a whole world out there able to relieve design headaches. What a wonderfully creative idea! Thank you so much for this great suggestion. It never would have occurred to me to look in places like that.

It also sounds like a win-win situation. Even if I for some reason am not inspired to make new pieces, I'll still enjoy having an eye-full of wonderful colours and shapes. :-D
