TUTORIAL:

Braided Wire Bangle

Uploaded on: Jan 26, 2009
Level: Easy
Description:

Multi-strand braiding has been around for centuries, and most of us learned three-strand braiding as children when we braided hair or fabric. The pattern of alternating strands is simple yet captivating. This version uses sterling silver and gold-fill wire, although you could substitute any color of wire. The tutorial includes instruction on making the twisted wire shown in the photo.

I made this bracelet tonight in all gold fill. I used 22g square ds for the twisted wire and 20g round ds for the other. The bracelet is gorgeous and very sturdy. I can't wait to place my wire order to get some silver so I can make one in silver and mix it up with gold and silver. Very easy to follow tutorial!
