TUTORIAL:

Multi-strand braiding has been around for centuries, and most of us learned three-strand braiding as children when we braided hair or fabric. The pattern of alternating strands is simple yet captivating. This version uses sterling silver and gold-fill wire, although you could substitute any color of wire. The tutorial includes instruction on making the twisted wire shown in the photo.

• 54" of 20 ga sterling silver soft wire
• 40" of 24 ga gold-fill soft wire OR an additional 18" of 20 ga silver wire
