This tutorial uses the herringbone weave in a different way, forming a cap on the upper half of a bead. It's preferable to use a rather flat, round or oval bead, but a briolette can also be used.

  • 5 feet of 26ga round soft wire
  • 1 flat oval or round bead measuring 3/4" wide or larger
Tool List:
  • Flush wire cutter

  • Chain nose pliers
  • Thick scrap wire
