TUTORIAL:

Charming Hearts

Uploaded on: Jan 11, 2010
Level: Intermediate
Description:

The Charming Hearts tutorial teaches, step by step the techniques needed to create perfect little hearts with a relatively small amount of wire (I’ve created hearts with as little as 2 inches [5.1cm]of wire each). Create individual charms, with or without bead drops to accentuate a bracelet; create multiple sizes for cute dangle earrings. Add birthstone color beads or crystals to create a charming family bracelet, or use heavy gauge wire to create a simple charming pendant.
This pattern can be created in any metal of your choice; in either round, square, or twisted square wire; any gauge wire from 24g to 12g; in half-hard or dead soft. This tutorial will show you how to create hearts in round wire and heavy gauge square wire, with tips on finishing.

Bobbi,
You've done it again. I love them. There goes my budget again, lol. Your tutorials are always so well written and photographed I've never had a single question about how to do them just how to get the wire and beads to make more.

I had to snicker. I have these in earrings and charm bracelets on display at the bead shop where I teach - they're priced if someone wants to buy them - The girls keep telling me, people ask where the hearts are so they put the earrings or bracelet together for themselves. It just makes me giggle :))
