This is such a lovely chain -- I wonder how good it would look with a chain of stones!

Or pearls...I've been wanting to try that!

Just an FYI, I believe that's Inverted Roundmaille, not Roundmaille :) Looks fantastic.
Thanks Youvegotmaille! Yes, I've seen it called 'inverted roundmaille' and also 'open roundmaille'.

My first thought upon looking at this was pearls as well, or clear crystals of some sort. Very pretty!

Thank you ladies!
I am almost finished with a 21 inch chain with freshwater pearls running through the middle. They are the gray-blue-green-purple very soft hued peacock pearls. I'm loving it! Very elegant! I'll post a picture as soon as I am finished!

Thank you for this great tutorial! I finally got time this evening to make a bracelet. I will post it in student work. I would like to add that I found it much easier to work the weave by hanging it from a hook and working it that way. This way the rings are always where you want them to be and you easily work your way down.

I just finished the bracelet today. It didn't take me that long once I got the "hang" of it. :-) I think it will look so different each time I use another type of bead or color of wire. Thanks for the wonderful tutorial. I just recently got interested in working with wire and have fallen in love with the process. I am eager to learn more and folks like you help so much.
