Description:

At first glance, this little coil bead may seem so simple that you're wondering “Why create a new tutorial for this?” My answer is a paraphrase of a famous CoCo Chanel quote:
You can't have enough basic little beads and the skills required for making them!!!
After mastering the basic form, you'll be ready to create a whole jewelry wardrobe out of the variations. Let your imagination guide you! This tutorial contains detailed and comprehensive instruction on how to make not only this basic form, but several embellished variations. Your jewelry collection will never be the same!!
The steps listed are for the Basic Doric Column Bead. Each variation has its own set of extra steps.

Miss Fee, I truly appreciate the compliment! Sometimes having an empty basic shape really gets the creative juices flowing! Who said 'nature abhors a vacuum?' Who ever it was, they are right!
I would love to see pics!
