Earrings with square peruvian stone buttons

Description:

I found these fantastic stone buttons on my last trip to Peru. This one are used in fine clothes sold in that country made with "alpaca" wool. They are combined in this pair of earrings with silver wire in a simple design that let them prominence.
This same technique can be applied to any button with two or four holes. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and would like to see many variations with other buttons in the pictures gallery!!!

Material List:
  • (2) buttons with two or four holes
  • 30cm. of 0.5mm. silver wire
  • 16cm. of 0.6mm. silver wire
Tool List:
  • round nose pliers
  • chain and flat nose pliers
  • flush cutter pliers
  • flat nose pliers with serrated jaws
