Great tutorial, Donna! Just finished my first one. It looks a tad lopsided and doesn't flow as nicely on the bottom of the rosette like it should, but overall not too bad for somebody not used to working with itty bitty wire. Jury's still out on whether I like anything under 24 gauge. Still, I think I figured out how to make it work better next time.

I may have to tackle "dance around the sun" next. :)

I had a hard time adjusting to thinner wire too when I first started weaving. What I ended up doing was practicing with thicker gages, like 16 or 18 for the frame wires and 24 for the weaving wire, then progressively using thinner wire until I was able to control the thinner wires easier than I could work with the thicker wire. It takes some patience, but the final result is well worth it!
