fantastic sold before i could even post a pic of it.. so many of my items go like that, I will be at appointments.. or where ever.. and a woman will walk by see something and say, how much.. its sold ... she will sit down and wait for me to finish. or get my card to call her as soon as its done, or ask for it ina different color skeem, and the when i have it finished she tells me her friend mom, sister who ever wants the other one as well, I do not think i have posted more then 1/2 doz maybe a few more befoer they sold .. word of mouth.. you can beat it especialy in a small town with no compitision LOL now if I could just master Chains.. something about chaings just elude me.. i cam make some of the most incredible rings and cabs and brecelets, but try to make a chain for that final tough ... and it all falls appart.. tut's or not..
maybe some of you have some nice simple victorian style.. or an older style chains that are not too complicated that you would be will =ing to share - thanks Sheryl - sheryl.crowe@gmail.com { NO I DO NOT SING, Im just an artist like all women with such a great name LOL}
Thank you all for your comments. sheryl, that is absolutely amazing! You are on a roll!! I love hearing about successs stories. And I know what you mean about chains... they can be tricky. Keep up the good work!
:)
Thank you so much,
Since this post I have been on a vengance to learn and work chains, and I have a couple two or three I can make myself.
I do encourage most of my ladies to either hang a wrapped cabochon on a commertial one, which I keep on hand but i do beed a LOT of nicely strung beads meant very much to be complementry to the style and color of many of the Cabchons that I make, and will pair them up or lay out a few that I feel go very nice with the pendent.. to encourage another sale,
This ring and a couple variations were and still are some of my HOTTEST sellers during the holiday shows and with the young girls ladies,
One small little thing I did, is my young girl is the chearleader coach's assistant and team leader, so for christmas I used this pattern and a couple spin off's including ear rings that had simular patterns and "Gave" each girl a set,
Talk about some great sales advertisment I have found in the small rural area I am in, That the best advert is to give small NICE well done pieces away for ladies/girls to wear, walking advert will do more sales then anything localy I can generate,
My girl is one of the best I can not say how many mornings she has got up and asked for a new ring and ear ring set to match what she is wearing using this pattern and a couple spin off's from it, I will make them up in the time it takes her to eat breakfast, so I can not say how fun this little one has been and has helped to realy make a great peice to give away with little cost, the return on cost much out weighs, thank you again. Sheryl
wow
PS It must have been late as my spelling was BAD, it always is, but that was even worse then normal, thank you for the wonderul encuragment it means a lot, I love this site I get so much from it. Thanks SC
You have a great passion there, Sheryl. I commend you for your resourcefulness in your advertising. I'm glad you stuck with it to make your own chains. I have a couple of chain designs I made myself that I plan to add to this site soon... not sure when as I have a lot going on right now, but it shouldnt be too long. Keep checking the site :)
P.S Don't worry about the spelling... I am fluent in Typonese! :P
