Post a Tip about this Tutorial

I had the chance to review this tutorial before it was published and it's definately on my to-do list as soon as my Monsterslayer order arrives. I only have very basic metalsmithing skills but I know I can accomplish this thanks to the excellent photos. Don't let the Tool List intimidate you - this can be done with a jeweler's saw and a few basic household tools. If you don't have Bur-Life, use a candle. If you don't have a centerpunch, use a nail. Cold connection techniques are something I've been wanting to learn and this design is so versatile. I think it would also look cool with a design stamped around the edge.

This looks awesome -- can't wait to try it -- need to order some tube and sheet stock first though. :)Or I my try it with copper.

Dawn

Congratulations!

I opened the last issue of Step-By-Step wire, and there was this pendant. (Instructions are for a fabulous chain.)

GLO

I too found this tutorial easy to understand and will be able to make a beautiful pendant just like this one.

Thank you Nancy, you're right...the substitutions you suggested work. I want those who purchase the tutorial to open their mind and imagination.
Thank you Dawn, GLO and Suzs! =)
I look forward to seeing new creations.
