Ever had trouble using your giant nugget beads? In this tutorial, I will teach you how to make a Wire Wrapped Framing for a Nugget Bead.
This tutorial will work with nuggets sizing from 25mm-50mm, any smaller will make the project difficult. Note; Wire lengths varies slightly depending on bead size, measurements listed is for using a nugget size 50mm.
This is a project for the intermediates. I recommend you have some prior experience with wire wrapping before taking on this project.

Material List:
  • About 35โ€ of 20GA wire
  • About 45โ€ of 28GA wire
  • Nugget bead 25mm-50mm
  • Copper beads 2 or 3mm
  • 22โ€ copper chain
Tool List:
  • Round nose pliers
  • Wire cutters
  • Bent nose pliers (Or flat nose pliers)

I love the concept, but my nuggets do not have drilled holes - any suggestions so I can use your tutorial? Many thanks! Kate

I am working on just that problem. If you add a 4th wave, the pendant will be caged in. I think it could work, but the framing would be done very differently from the tutorial, so I wont promise you, that you can use it.

I just love the beautiful pendant tutorial, you have made for all of us.
