TUTORIAL:

Pyramid pendant

Uploaded on: Jan 15, 2010
Level: Very Advanced
Description:

This tutorial teaches you how to create this 3 dimensional pyramid. For thousands of years, the largest structures on Earth were pyramids: first the Red Pyramid in the Dashur Necropolis and then the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still remaining and still the tallest pyramid of all. The largest pyramid ever built, by volume, is the Great Pyramid of Cholula, in the Mexican state of Puebla.
Use 3 contrasting colours for a vibrant piece or make it completely out of silver for a stylish design. Vary the size of the beads too for different effects. The pyramid measures 1 ¼” from the bail to the bottom edge, each side is 1” and the pyramid is 2 /3” tall.

Oh my goodness. You are my favorite! I love everything Egyptian. I can't wait until I'm advanced enough to make this beautiful pyramid, and the lotus flower gorgeous!... I'm new to wire wrapping and have only made one ring so far which was a adjustable two bead ring by Carol Landine. What project can I complete next that would allow me the techniques to start on your this project?

What a wonderful thing to say - thank you.
