  • 6 to 7 inches of 12 gauge copper wire

Well it certainly is very different from anything I've seen on JL before. I like the stones in the photo too.

I had a present from someone, the box was wrapped in Sari silk waste yarn- this was a few months ago. I have only just seen this tutorial but the pendant suited this type of wrapping, I had made a choker with copper wire for the pendant, recycling the sari waste yarn. It always gets a comment when I wear it :D

I am so in love with this material: not only is it luxuriant being silk, but it is wild and free with the ragged edges. One of my favorite tasks is opening the skein of silk and unwinding it for choosing my colors. I wish I could make a curtain from it!
