This is just AWESOME Miss Perri!!! My only problem now is deciding on which to do first - the original or the wonderful variations...

Perri,
This is fantastic - totally awesome - any any other description you want to add. You have moved the bar higher on this one. Can I borrow your ladder?
Beautiful work - Judy Whitfield

I keep coming back to this - its so cool - Question: Are the pendants "Lines, Circles and Color" and "Lavender Lisianthus" variations of this too?

Good Question, Bobbi! Yes, I suppose you could say so - although Lines, Circles, Color is a closer variation. Lisianthus has some elements that are decidedly different, although related. Does that mean I'm a one note wonder? Hmmmmm.......possibly, but I like the sound of it!

Ms. Perri, obviously do not speak English, it is possible that the photos can only lead me to develop this beautiful hanging? Thank you
This tutorial is AMAZING... love it!

Oh, good gravy Bobbi, not at all! I was having a hard time defining what was and wasn't a variation is all - the basic shape and technique from my first ever tutorial has taken me in so many directions, that I hesitate to call it all variation, but there are similarities with very individual, distinctive tweaks. Which of course, takes it in a whole new direction!
Sometimes, I do think of myself as a one note wonder - then I get over that silliness, and listen to the music!!!!!
So which variation did you decide on??????

Alondra - Thiis is not going to seem like an answer, but it is what I have. According to some people who bought the tutorial, and have English as a second language, if you are within the experience group for this tutorial - advanced or very advanced intermediate - then you will probably be fine, as long as you have a translation manual of some kind.
There are a lot of pictures that are very close and clear, and I tried to give true step by step directions with the experience level in mind.
I also am available to help if it is needed, as many of the teachers here are!
Hope this helped!

Okie Miss Perri, just making sure. "One note wonder?" PA-LEASE!! :)) Spike wants me to do a bracelet for his Mom for Mother's Day with 7 of the picture frames as links - gaaahhh. Wonder how fast I could teach him how to do this? Hehehe.
Actually am hitting the bead store on the way home, have an idea for teeny diamond shapes as earrings. I've been assimilated to the Dark Side - going to reduce the beads to 2mm and sz 15 Delicas, and the base wire to about 28 or 30g. Whatcha think?
Yea, I'll be permanently cross-eyed by morning :))

I think it will be beautiful!!!!!! One point, though - your pieces will have the added support of the link frame - they will need it! When you reduce the gauge in this, the pieces can be somewhat easily crushed. Gauge always depends on the application!
On another note - I got a great idea from a friend on another forum for the frame piece - make the embellishments in the corners the birthstones of the loved ones pictured! Talk about a "DUH!!! Coulda had a V-8 moment!!!!!
Can't wait to see it!!!!!

Started this up over the weekend...I had a problem with my sterling 2mm beads splitting apart when I pulled the second wire through them! Decided to try in copper...however since I didn't have any 2mm copper beads, I used 4mm and 3mm. It worked just fine, albeit the heart is a bit larger than the one in Perri's version.
Moving on to the coils next. Great tut with clear instructions (althought I struggled a little with the "speed version" of adding beads).
Lynn, did they split or were they seamed in the first place? If they split, then try pulling as straight through as possible, with the curve in the wire kept back from the bead until the last possible second. If they were seamed beads, then try it with solid ones. I have resources if you need them.
Is there some way I can help or explain the "speed version' better? I'll definitely try! If different pics are what you think would work, I'd refine that, too, if I can. I'm all about making things better and easier if I am able. :^))))

Thanks Perri...the beads are "supposedly" solid - that was the first thing I looked at after I'd split the first one. The next think I looked at was to make sure they were BEADS, not crimps (I have some teeny tiny crimp beads, and they are thin), but no, they were actual beads. Solid sterling. If you want to post or email me where you get your globes, I'll take the tip!
I think as far as the "speed version" I need to relook at the instructions again, to see if it was just me or if it could be more clearly written. I'm better with visual teaching, so it could have just been the way I read through it. Will let you know.
Perri thank you very much for this super great tutorial, your tutorial has the possibility to make many variations as you said, and I saw it too, infinity variations with other shapes, with other beads too, wow, truly only the sky is the limit, I have in mind other ideas, I will make later, your tutorial is easy to follow and the pictures are wonderful, all is there, I used 4 and 3mm and the other 3 and 2 mm. thank you very much Perri, was very amazing!!!!
If you can dream it - you can do it!

You are so welcome, Rita!!!! You are already taking this to your own places - I couldn't ask for more. Just take us with you when you create, so that your variations can be enjoyed. Hugs to you!!!!
