There are lots of ways to make a prong ring, but when using craft wire, none of them really set the prongs well enough to prevent losing the stone. This one solves that problem! Thank you for a most excellent tutorial.

the design is defnitely very sturdy. I have never done a prong setting and very pleasantly surprise that i did it on my first try especially when setting in the stone. The minute i pressed the prong on the stone, it really is a TIGER claw. The stone couldnt move at all!Great tutorial!
