Uploaded on: Jun 10, 2009
Level: Easy
Description:

This tutorial shows how to make a totally handmade masculine cufflink set using cylinder beads, and 18, 20g and 22g round wire. Depending on the bead they can be sophisticated or playful. Unlike other tutorials, this shows how to make the chain and toggle too, instead of using prefabricated chain and clasps.

Post a Tip about this Tutorial

This tutorial is for anyone who likes to make things totally from scratch -- it differs from similar tutorials on other sites in that it is made totally from scratch, not from purchased components. Thanks to Dini from Natural Jewels for her tutorial on chains that taught me to make the figure eight links used here. Thanks!

Nice idea (though not the only one ;) but I prefer gemstones). Thanks for making it free.

I wish my boyfriend wore cufflinks... Then I could make these and give to him tomorrow for our 10th anniversary... Last minute gift idea ;)

Kasi,

Gemstones are good too -- especially the shiny clear ones! :)

My hubby doesn't wear jewelry or ties or cufflinks (or anything remotely dressy), so I know how that goes.

Happy Anniversary!
