I do not have tumbler shown above, but I have one that I bought at Michaels a few months ago for my daughter it tumbles rocks. Will it work for my jewelry also?

Another great tutorial. I couldn't live without my tumbler. I just wish I would have invested in one earlier.

Wonderful tut...I have allways wanted to know about the tumbler...I am new at this. I hope I can find one! Thanks for taking the time to make and post this.

Thank you for sharing this information. I also want to know more about this as I feel I am still new to this all.

So now all those terms I have heard, burnishing, etc, have comprehension. Now we know how the "magic" is done. Thank you for sharing this. I have the Rio Grande tool catalog and will check them out pricing and such. Its my wish book. There a good and reputable source I feel. Only I do go all over on line and price things out. Let you know about their tumblers. . Thank you again.

Guess what Santa brought me and as I was looking at it I thought, now how am I going to use this... LOL
Thanks for keeping this here for me...

Thanks, great tutorial and valuable information on which tumbler to buy, which was a complete mystery to me.
I wonder what happens to a patina/oxidation you might have added with Liver Of Silver. Will that disappear or get lighter? Or should the patina be added after the tumbling?
Thanks again,
regards,
Milli.

Thank you thank you! I just got a tumbler and "shot" and haven't used it yet. I'm printing your tutorial out as a step by step for when I do it!

Great tips Jan, definitely going to use them in our store here in Florida.

Jan,
We have a tumbler like that, but it keeps running off the rods that turn the drum. Is there any secret to keeping it running straight?
