This is an easy beginning wire project that will add a nice artisan touch to necklaces and other projects. (It's also my first tutorial, so please DO feel free to send comments and suggestions so I can improve not only this tutorial, but future tutorials as well.)

Material List:
  • 2-3/4" of 18 ga soft round wire
  • 2 12" lengths of 28 ga soft round wire
  • 1 small decorative bead (about 4mm)
  • 2 small 4mm round sterling silver beads
Tool List:
  • Round nose pliers
  • Chain nose pliers
  • Wire cutters
  • 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper or small file
  • Fine point Sharpie
  • Ruler or measuring tape

oh this is so very cute. the sort of thing i want to start doing for myself instead of buying!
